Clinton Accuses Trump Administration of Selective Releases in Epstein Documents

A spokesperson for former President Bill Clinton has issued a statement condemning the U.S. Department of Justice’s release of select portions of Jeffrey Epstein’s case documents, alleging unfair targeting and obstruction of transparency. The statement directly addresses the administration’s handling of newly disclosed materials tied to Clinton.

“The Epstein Files Transparency Act imposes a clear legal duty on the U.S. Department of Justice to produce the full and complete record the public demands and deserves,” the statement reads. “However, what the Department of Justice has released so far, and the manner in which it did so, makes one thing clear: Someone or something is being protected. We do not know whom, what, or why. But we do know this: We need no such protection.”

Clinton’s spokesperson urged President Trump to direct Attorney General Pam Bondi to “immediately” release additional materials related to the former president, including grand jury transcripts, interview notes, photographs, and findings from the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York. The statement further asserted that the Department of Justice’s actions “are not about transparency, but about insinuation,” citing repeated clearances of individuals under prior administrations across both political parties.

The newly released documents include images circulating widely on social media, such as a photograph showing Clinton with his arm around a young woman whose face is obscured to protect her identity, and another image featuring Clinton in a swimming pool with Epstein’s associate Ghislaine Maxwell and an additional woman with her face concealed.
