A former mental health therapy intern in Florida has been accused of having an inappropriate sexual relationship with her client at a residential addiction facility. Court documents reveal that 32-year-old Michelle Luchau-Rebora worked as an intern “in the capacity of a mental health therapist” at New Hope C.O.R.P.S., a facility in Homestead that serves single men in South Miami-Dade County.
The alleged victim reported the relationship to staff after Luchau-Rebora ended it last fall. According to records, the 42-year-old patient and therapist engaged in sexual activity from June 2025 through September 2025 while under her care, with the intern allegedly facilitating alibis that enabled the client to leave the facility for intimate encounters at his mother’s home and a hospital.
It is further alleged that the two had sex during therapy sessions. New Hope C.O.R.P.S. describes itself as “a residential substance abuse treatment facility for single men.”
