A co-founder of the Lincoln Project has called for Trump administration official Stephen Miller to be the first to face trial in what he described as a series of legal proceedings following a deadly incident in Minneapolis.
Rick Wilson, host of the podcast “NeverTrumper,” stated on Saturday’s episode that he wants Miller “to be the number one in the Nuremburg trials when this is done.” He added, “When this is done, I want Stephen Miller to be the first one who is tried and convicted and fking dangles.”
Wilson identified Miller as “the sole executive that runs all this DHS, ICE stuff — the ‘ICEstapo’,” referring to his role in federal immigration enforcement.
The comments followed Wilson’s criticism of Miller’s social media posts labeling Alex Pretti—a male nurse who was fatally shot during a confrontation with U.S. Border Patrol agents—as a “would-be assassin.” According to reports, Pretti was carrying a firearm at the time of the incident.
Wilson acknowledged he would face backlash for his remarks, saying, “I know I’m going to get in trouble.”
The Department of Justice, Homeland Security, and Miller’s office did not respond to requests for comment.
