SUNDANCE STARS TURN TO ‘ICE OUT’ BUTTONS IN PROTEST AGAINST TRUMP’S IMMIGRATION POLICIES

At this year’s Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, Hollywood stars have deployed lapel buttons reading “ICE OUT” as a visible protest against Trump’s immigration policies.

Ed Norton described the current climate at the festival as tense when discussing his upcoming polyamory comedy “The Invite” with co-stars Seth Rogen and Olivia Wilde. The conversation shifted abruptly as concerns over Trump’s immigration enforcement policies took center stage.

Norton remarked, “These days it’s, like, ‘What are we gonna do about masked gestapo shooting American citizens?’” When Rogen quipped, “Have you found an answer?” Norton replied, “We are sitting here talking about movies while an illegal army is being mounted against U.S. citizens.”

Olivia Wilde, who wore the button with a red-carpet ensemble featuring a sheer lace bodice and thigh-high slit, stated her alarm over recent events. “I’m horrified by this string of murders that we are somehow legitimizing and normalizing,” she said. “And I think Americans are all horrified. It’s insane and hideous.”

Wilde added, “Americans are out on the streets marching and demanding justice, and we’re there with them. If we can do anything with our platforms, you know, we can speak out and demand that ICE get out.”

Natalie Portman also wore the “ICE OUT” button, pairing it with her Luna black zip boots from Moon Boot ($250).
