Protesters in Minneapolis, Minnesota, chanted violent slogans and threatened federal officers following the lethal shooting of Renee Good by immigration enforcement personnel.
One demonstrator identified as Charlotte Sanders—a transgender woman who uses she/her pronouns—declared: “I am protesting what was done to Renee Nicole Good, George Floyd Jr., Leonard Peltier, and Trayvon Martin… I stand here today to go up against violent injustices… We must take a stand against fascism and hate! We must annihilate fascism and hate.”
Sanders, who has faced health challenges including psoriatic arthritis and cancer linked to psychological trauma, emphasized her commitment to protecting “LGBTQIA2S+ chosen family and community.”
The footage captured protesters shouting: “You ain’t st! Put your badge down! I’ll fight you!” and “Get the fk out of here, piggy! You don’t belong here!”
Additional scenes showed demonstrators equating President Trump to Adolf Hitler with the statement: “The blood is on your hands!!” Another protester compared the president to a Star Wars emperor while others waved Somali flags.
