Drake Maye, the 24-year-old New England Patriots quarterback, has admitted taking a conspiracy theory class during his college years.
The NFL’s third overall pick in the 2024 Draft spent time at North Carolina from 2021 to 2023 and graduated early with a 3.2 GPA, earning All-ACC Academic Team honors in 2023.
In a recent radio broadcast, Maye revealed he had been studying conspiracy theories extensively. When asked by a fan which “wild conspiracy theory” he would rather believe in, he said: “I don’t know about the moon [landing], you know?” He prefaced his answer by noting he didn’t want to get too controversial on air and remarked on the caller’s thick New England accent.
