For the second time in weeks, women wearing pro-women shirts to show support for Indiana Fever star Sophie Cunningham have been confronted by arena staff. During the game, a mother and daughter were told they must cover up their shirts or leave the venue.
The incident follows last week’s WNBA meeting where league personnel discussed eligibility rules but made no definitive changes regarding restrictions on men in the league. Cunningham has been instrumental in bringing attention to the conversation of women needing their own sports within the league.
